For the first time, I’m taking my regular cast recap that I place in the forums and putting it onto the front page for all of you folks to see. Now how exciting is that? I know…you are raising your hands in the air in celebration as you read this very sentence. Hell, I know I was! So, are ready for the fun that is the MvG Recap? Well, it doesn’t matter if you are ready or not, cause here I come!

MANvsGAME Cast Recap (8/12/2010) — Chill Cast featuring Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Kart Wii

Part I: Super Smash Bros Brawl: MANvsCHAT Edition

“Man vs Boo” – View Highlight Here

In the first actual matchup of the evening, Man takes on viewer Boowaski in a little 10 stock battle. While you watch Man get a nice thorough defeat, just note that he actually mentions in the video about how the cast won’t have that many highlights. That was a nice little bit of negative foreshadowing, wasn’t it? The highlight itself is the match in its entirety, and its about 9 minutes long.

“Man vs Durango” – View Highlight Here

In the next matchup, Man takes on another regular viewer by the name of Durango in another 10 stock fight. There isn’t a whole lot more to say about this clip except to say that you probably already know the results of this one. But, enjoy the fight regardless! Just like the last highlight, this clip is the match in its entirety, and is about 9 minutes long.

“4 MAN Free-For-All – Brawl Edition” – View Highlight Here

Here is the finale of the Brawl action for this particular evening. This matchup was a good old fashioned 4 man free for all featuring the MAN himself and his opponents Duke, Liquid, and Boo. Who would come out on top in this ultimate standoff? Watch the quick fire action for yourself! Oh, and please try to ignore the lag at the end. That is NOT MY FAULT.

Part II: Mario Kart Wii – MANvsWOMANvsCHAT Edition

“A Tawnithan Sighting!” – View Highlight Here

Before the racing gets underway — in a channel first, Man’s girlfriend Tawnithan makes an appearance on the stream. Is this the first of many appearances? Let’s hope so, right MvG Viewers?

“The Bet – Pushup Edition” – View Highlight Here

Okay, if you were not at the cast live, here was the little wager: If Tawnithan beats Man in the race, Man has to do 10 pushups. Sounds pretty simple, right? So, would Man have to do some pushups? Well, why don’t you watch this fan favorite clip and find out? For the record, this highlight is the race AND the events afterwards, and sits at about 4 minutes. Enjoy!

“Try For The Gorge” – View Highlight Here

Here it is, the final race of the evening — the grand daddy of them all if you will. Anyway, here is the setup: After a few attempts to bring in Tawnithan’s favorite track, Mushroom Gorge, the group finally comes through. Man already has 10 pushups he owes the chat — but are there possibly more pushups in store? You might be surprised with the final result! Trust me, this one comes down to the wire — so don’t blink at the end. After all, you might just miss it.

Oh yeah, this highlight has spoilers from the last highlight. Just pretend that you saw the previous highlight first, alright? Anyway, as the cast wraps, Man pays his second set of 10 pushups to the chat room. Enjoy the great camera work by Tawnithan in this final scene of the evening! PS: Nice use of the “Man Crotch” Man. Don’t think that’s coming out of my brain anytime soon.
