MANvsGAME – The Recap (8/20/10)

August 20, 2010

Once again, I’m taking my regular cast recap that I once placed in the now deceased forums and putting it onto the front page for all of you folks to see. Now how exciting is that? I know…you are raising your hands in the air in celebration as you read this very sentence. Hell, I know I was! So, are ready for the fun that is the MvG Recap? Well, it doesn’t matter if you are ready or not, cause here I come!

MANvsGAME Cast Recap (8/20/2010) — MAN of WAR Cast Featuring God of War

“Cerberus Duel” – View Highlight Here

Man’s first major fight of the evening is found in this highlight. In this clip, Man gets the honor of taking on a couple of the meanest Cerberus you will ever find. It starts off with a little bit of blindsiding fail, but after a few tips come in from the chatroom, Man begins to show us why he is the MAN of WAR. Enjoy.

“The Chest Trap Warning” – View Highlight Here

I should note that in the beginning of this particular clip, Man once again mentions that this is first playthrough of God of War. The problem with that is the fact that you can’t make such an excuse when you make the mistake that Man makes in this highlight. Despite sharp warning from the chat, Man just can’t help but add to his fail count, so enjoy.

So much for taking warnings from the chat room, eh Man? Of course, I'm sure you enjoy putting Kratos to his death in the dumbest way possible.

“Abuse the Flaw” – View Highlight Here

As most of you viewers know, Man tends to get himself into trouble more times than honestly necessary. However, you should also know that when Man gets into tight spots (which is often), he is never afraid to expose a game’s flaw in order to scrape by. This is exactly the point of this highlight, as Man escapes death by “fucking it” and taking advantage of a certain glitch.

“Smooching Up The Ladies” – View Highlight Here

In this clip, Man goes on one of his usual missions to hook up with some fine ladies. Despite his usual failure in this department, Man finally gets some and earns himself the Splash trophy. Not only that, but he then goes to get action with another lady! It doesn’t seem possible that Man would be so lucky, but just see this highlight for yourself to get some proof.

“To Catch a Predator LIVE” – View Highlight Here

Did you think you would ever be able to catch another great TV program while watching the MvG cast at the same time? Well, for any of you who were hoping to possibly achieve that dream one day, this clip is for you! In this highlight, Man delves deep into his inner Chris Hansen to bring you a LIVE segment of “To Catch a Predator”. Enjoy this throwback to TV of old.

“Retard Point” – View Highlight Here

And now for everyone’s favorite part of any normal MvG cast…the period of Man’s total fail! In tonight’s segment, Man goes on a nice fail streak, so much so that he even earns himself a trophy just for failing so many times in a row! Do you want to count just how many deaths Man earns for himself? Just watch this highlight and you can count until your heart is content!

“Man’s Mini Review – God of War” – View Highlight Here

So after seeing Man play God of War for most of the week, you are probably wondering what Man actually thinks of the game. Well, in tonight’s final clip, the Man himself brings you a quick and dirty review of the original GoW. Of course, any time Man tells you that it’s better to be high after reviewing a game, it’s possible that you might not want to trust him on what he says. Watch the clip and be the judge for yourself.

I'm going to take a play out of Man's playbook and tell you to "Smoke Em if You Got Em", cause we might be here a while at this rate.

So, hopefully you enjoyed this edition of the MvG Recap! Is there anything I can do better to improve this recap? Well, if there is, then do not be shy to post a comment below. After all, I will be trying to do these for every cast, so every little comment helps! Okay, until Monday friends — have a great weekend!
