Super Claudio Bros., All New Video Game Musical

That's right, a video game musical.

First, a few words from the site:

This new musical comedy takes our heroes – and an ass kicking princess – on a quest to overcome man-eating plants, spiky killer mushrooms, and a neurotic, love-starved homicidal purple platypus. Features original animation, puppets and eggplants!

A production by The New Musical Foundation, Inc (http://newmusicalfoundation.org/), Super Claudio Bros. takes place in the Land of Eggplants, and follows the Claudio Brothers, Claudio and Luis, as they try to rescue the Princess Tangerine from the evil platypus, Bruiser. They are joined by Princess Fish, the neglected sister.

I am an avid fan of musicals, so this was a spectacular find for me. The music is fantastically done, and quite catchy. Sadly, as far as I can tell, the music has very little, if any, chiptune. But the nerd value definitely takes the cake.

Unfortunately, it looks like the show is only performing in Washington, DC for the moment. With any hope, this will spread like wildfire and the show will tour the US.
